a bit about me:
I'm Amanda – a screenwriter, journalist and expert in digital media production who has (in sum) spent my career telling stories.
As well as having extensive experience of teaching others how to write and produce for print, radio and television, I also have expertise in digital storytelling and in course and curriculum design for blended and online learning.
I started my career researching for my local BBC radio station and then went on to write news and features for some of the UK's largest media organisations before winning awards for my blogging and social media skills.
I have branched out from factual writing and digital media production to screenwriting for TV, and specialise in writing original drama and adaptations.
My love of words may be explained by the fact that I hail originally from Shakespeare’s county (Warwickshire, in case you’re wondering) but now live with my partner and kids in rural Scotland.
If you'd like to connect to have a chat about how I might help you with your project I am a big fan of coffee and so would be happy to connect (either virtually or in person).
I'd love to hear from you!
